In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve been a little obsessed with mushrooms lately. So, I’m gonna give you the whole story. I purchased a tin with printed mushrooms on the lid that I fell in love with. I am then browsing @handcarvedhooks site (once again), and it hits me! Maybe Roux could make me a custom hook with painted mushrooms on it. I messaged her and sent her a pic of the tin and of course, she says she can do it! 🤗

Well, not only could she do it, but Roux went above and beyond to bring me exactly what I wanted. She actually researched the print and discovered it was an illustration by the French entomologist Adolphe Philippe Millot.
